Job Description
Texitech is currently looking for a dedicated Import Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the Import Procurement Cycle, which includes managing documentation, Letters of Credit (LCs), and bank contracts. Your responsibilities will involve preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documents while coordinating effectively with various stakeholders, such as forwarding agents, shipping lines, and clearing agents.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of freight terms, Inco terms, customs duties, and related areas. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA), along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Import Procurement, is required.
