Job Description
Apt Resources Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Diamond Evaluator to join our client’s mining operations in Angola. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in assessing, grading, and valuing rough diamonds in accordance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and grade rough diamonds using advanced gemological instruments.
- Determine market values using current pricing data and trend analysis.
- Maintain precise documentation, reporting, and chain-of-custody records.
- Work with mining teams to ensure safe handling and compliance with the Kimberley Process and global regulations.
Requirements & Benefits: Degree in Gemology or related field, minimum 8 years’ experience, fluency in English and Portuguese. Compensation USD 5,00–7,00/month plus commission, with accommodation, meals, and insurance provided.
