Job Description
Service Contract (SC) — 6 months (possible extension). Duty station: Peshawar, Pakistan.
Responsible for safe, efficient transport of authorized personnel and cargo for warehouse operations. Operate UN fleet vehicles including HTV trucks, forklift, towing vehicle and water bowser. Perform daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance and minor repairs, refueling, logbook and record keeping, vehicle cleanliness, and report mechanical faults, incidents or security concerns. Support mission readiness and other duties as required.
- Education: Secondary school and valid HTV driver’s license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years driving experience, preferably with an international organization or UN.
- Skills: Defensive driving, basic vehicle repairs, radio/communication, basic first aid, client-oriented conduct, fluency in local and UN working language.
