Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Officer to oversee operations at our data center. Responsibilities include supervising site activities, preparing staff rosters, and allocating tasks. You will be responsible for vetting tasks performed by data center officers, managing physical access to facilities, and escalating issues as needed. A strong understanding of tape management, console operations, and backup/recovery procedures across AIX, Linux, and Intel platforms is essential. Additionally, you will monitor fire detection systems and the power draw, ensuring proper upkeep of UPS and generators. Documenting and maintaining the data center inventory will also be a key responsibility.

Requirements
