Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Billing and Insurance Specialist to oversee patient billing, insurance verification, claim submission, and follow-up within a collaborative healthcare setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Prepare and submit claims, verify benefits, and post payments.
- Investigate and resolve denials; coordinate with insurers and patients.
- Maintain accurate records and utilize EHR/billing software daily.
- Support claim appeals and implement denial prevention measures.
Requirements: 2+ years of medical billing experience, knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, familiarity with insurance policies and EHR systems. CBCS or equivalent certification and appeals experience preferred. Competitive pay and a supportive team environment.
