Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team, working under the guidance of experienced Emergency Medicine Consultants. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the safe and efficient assessment and management of emergency patients, including triage, ordering diagnostics, and following up on results.
Key responsibilities include effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, timely patient referrals, and ensuring appropriate patient dispositions at shift’s end. Regular reviews of patients in line with care plans, as well as thorough documentation of all findings, are essential. Adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols is mandatory alongside effective response to any adverse incidents within the department.
Requirements include current Irish Medical Council Registration, FCPS training completion, and 3-4 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
