Job Description
Lead new business acquisition for overland transportation, including FTL, LTL, cross-border, and domestic services. Develop and execute strategies to grow market share in trucking, ground freight, and detention-related services while achieving revenue and margin objectives.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, tenders, and proposals with proactive planning to meet targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and key accounts; conduct regular business reviews to identify upsell opportunities.
- Serve as primary escalation contact for detention, demurrage, delays, and service failures; monitor detention time, reduce cost exposure, and implement process improvements.
- Train internal teams and customers on detention policies and contract compliance.
